Lucy

Based in West Sussex, Lucy provides occupational therapy assessments to clients at home, visiting the areas of Brighton, Hove, Littlehampton, Goring-by-Sea and Worthing. Her clinical specialisms focus on rehabilitation and housing and equipment, as well as moving & handling of adults.

Having worked previously in community neurological rehabilitation teams, Lucy now carries out independent assessments with clients at home. She provides treatment programmes and recommendations, including the provision of specialist equipment, advice on adaptations to be made to the home and delivering physical and cognitive neurological rehabilitation. Working with the family, Lucy will develop a plan that helps her client become as independent as possible in their home.

Lucy carries out Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG's) applications and recommendations, using her experience to prepare scaled plans to assess and design the integration of equipment in her client's living space/environment.

By attending conferences and seminars, Lucy is regularly updating her clinical knowledge. She is also a member of the College of Occupational Therapists specialist sections- Independent Practice.
