Working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Muhammed specialises in Seating & Postural Management, Moving & Handling, and alternative communication. Muhammed is located in Birmingham and covers clients across the West Midlands, including Stoke-on-Trent.
Muhammed’s main areas of expertise cover cerebral palsy, autism, Down’s Syndrome, learning disabilities, ADHD, and muscular dystrophy. His extensive career has seen him working in acute primary hospitals, rehabilitation centres, home health care, and school settings. This has included working as a highly specialist OT in a number of leading hospitals in the UK, including The Royal London Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, and The Whittington Health NHS. He offers a holistic approach, providing quality care to the patient and family in any setting, whether at home, hospital, or school. Muhammed’s experience in home health care, manual handling care, and training on activities of daily living (ADL) means he can offer exceptional paediatric care.
Muhammed has specialist experience as Clinical Lead for a Wheelchair Service in the West Midlands and is also a Bobath Trained Therapist for children with Cerebral Palsy and neuro-disabilities.
Muhammed presents at conferences internationally and is a member of HCPC (UK), NBCOT (OTR, USA), and HAAD (UAE).
