Vicky

Vicky is an OT located in Kettering, Northamptonshire. She is a highly experienced OT who specialises in Seating and Postural Management, supporting those with physical disabilities and neurological conditions. Vicky mostly works with children in school and home settings, supporting those with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, muscular dystrophy, and learning difficulties.

Vicky has been an OT for over ten years, working extensively in the field to provide assessments for children of all ages. Vicky will advise on suitable seating and equipment for children, ensuring they have the means to take part in lessons and activities. She also advocates the 24-hour postural care approach, ensuring that every aspect of a client’s life is assessed and the most suitable solution proposed. Vicky will set up any equipment recommended and demonstrate how to correctly and safely use it. On many occasions, she has delivered training in special educational needs and disability (SEND) schools to staff and parents.

Vicky is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section for Independent Practice (RCOTSS-IP) and has completed an MSc Module in Sensory Integration Level 1.
