Sharon is a Paediatric OT based in Ashtead, Surrey. She specialises in Autism and Sensory Processing Difficulties, but also supports children with more complex needs relating to cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, and acquired brain injury. Sharon visits children in both home and school settings across Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, West Sussex, and the South of London.
Specialising in Paediatric Occupational Therapy for over 10 years, Sharon has worked with children and their families to develop their fine and gross motor skills, daily living skills, and independence. Sharon is trained in Sensory Integration and Therapeutic Listening, helping children with autism, sensory processing and motor difficulties, and ADHD.
Sharon has undertaken several post-graduate courses to expand her clinical knowledge and skill-set, completing a post-graduate certificate in Sensory Integration, basic and advanced Therapeutic Listening, as well as training in using the SCERTS framework and DIR/Floortime.
