Sarah is a highly skilled OT located in Derbyshire, supporting clients across the North of England and the Midlands including Sheffield, Leeds, and Nottingham. Sarah has over 20 years’ experience in her specialist field of pain and fatigue management, providing holistic assessments and interventions. Throughout her career Sarah has developed expert clinical understanding of a wide variety of conditions such as back pain, fibromyalgia, phantom limb pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, and auto-inflammatory conditions.

Sarah works with clients to manage their chronic pain and fatigue using specialist techniques, cognitive and behavioural strategies. She frequently works with co-morbid conditions, helping clients to manage their every need and maximise their quality of life. Sarah has completed training courses on advanced pain rehabilitation with the Neuro-Orthopaedic Institute. Sarah is also skilled in motivational interviewing, anxiety management, and relaxation helping to support a client’s mental health alongside their physical needs.

Sarah actively participates in her profession, sitting on national committees and contributing to national guidelines and resources. This includes the British Pain Society Pain Management Programme Special Interest Group and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Pain Clinical Forum working group. She is also a member of three Specialist Sections at the RCOT, Trauma and Musculoskeletal Health, Pain Management Programmes, and Independent Practice.
