Based in Norwich, Alison is a specialist OT with expertise in fatigue management. She provides holistic assessments considering a client’s physical and mental needs, developing tailored therapy plans and recommending equipment and housing adaptations to help meet a client’s personal goals. Alison covers a client base across Norfolk and Suffolk, visiting adults of all ages with a range of conditions such as ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, hypermobility syndrome, multiple sclerosis, dementia, Alzheimer’s, anxiety, and depression.
Alison has worked as an OT for over 25 years, helping clients to develop effective routines and manage daily activities. Alison is highly experienced working with young adults aged 16-25, having worked as part of several specialist teams throughout her career. She supports clients to manage fatigue, anxiety, and stress whether in a home, education, or work environment. Alison is also skilled in motivational interviewing and counselling, supporting clients with difficulties in school and work place settings.
Alison is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section in Independent Practice and the British Association for CFS/ME. She is dedicated to her continual development as an OT, regularly seeking to expand her clinical knowledge and skillset.
