Naomi is an experienced Occupational Therapist based in Cambridgeshire. She visits clients of all ages across East Anglia including Thetford, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, and Ely. Having worked extensively across both acute and community settings, Naomi has gained expertise on a variety of physical and neurological conditions such as arthritis, brain injury, stroke, and dementia.
Naomi is skilled in the assessment and review of care package needs, as well as minor housing adaptations and adaptive equipment prescription. She has also gained experience in the process of applying for Disabled Facilities Grants to fund major housing adaptations.
Naomi takes a client-centred approach to rehabilitation with lots of experience assisting clients with goal setting, grading activities, and utilising a problem-solving approach to potential barriers in the rehabilitation process. Her main aim is to help clients to maximise their potential and improve their level of function in meaningful activities.
She also has a special interest in cognitive impairments, and particularly memory rehabilitation, having completed an undergraduate certificate in Cognitive Psychology and a Memory Rehab Programme with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. This introduced an evidence-based approach to memory strategies to clients with a dementia diagnosis.
Naomi is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
