Karen

Karen is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience. She specialises in physical and mental health rehabilitation, helping clients with a wide range of conditions including orthopaedics and trauma, learning difficulties, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, and stroke. Karen is based near Enfield in North London and supports clients across London, Hertfordshire, and Essex.

Throughout her career, Karen has worked extensively in mental health services, acute in-patient, and community mental health services, with both the adult and elderly population. Karen provides thorough assessments and detailed reports, providing recommendations and guidance on equipment provisions, safe moving & handling, and activities of daily living. She has also developed expertise on Vocational Rehabilitation, supporting clients to return to and remain in work.

Karen works towards promoting and maintaining her client’s independence at all times and ensures her clinical practice and development are maintained through regular post graduate training and supervision. Karen has also worked in a variety of rehabilitation settings, most recently during the pandemic, she supported patients with their rehabilitation who were recovering from Covid.
