Annabel is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist based in Norfolk, just outside of Norwich, and covers a client base across East Anglia. Since graduating she has gained a wealth of experience working in both the NHS and private sector, with both adults and children who have experienced complex trauma. She now specialises in behavioural and developmental conditions, choosing to focus on Paediatrics since 2015.
Annabel has worked extensively in the community, predominantly working with children on the edge of care, those in foster care, and those in residential settings. She is especially skilled in working closely with agencies, schools, and local authorities to ensure the best outcome can be achieved for the young person. Annabel has specific experience working with looked after and adopted children, assessing the impact of trauma on day-to-day functioning.
Annabel has completed training on the stabilisation of dissociative disorders, sibling trauma, systemic formulation, along with Dyadic Developmental Practice, psychotherapy, and parenting training. She combines trauma-based skills alongside the Model of Human Occupation for comprehensive assessment and treatment.
