Functional Rehabilitation OT Alison works throughout the East Midlands in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Derbyshire (Nottingham). Alison recommends Equipment and provides Fatigue/Pain management. She works to improve Daily Living Skills (e.g., Routine Planning) and care of the Elderly. She enjoys working with conditions such as Anxiety, Long Covid, PTSD, Dementia, Gross Motor Skills and Neurodiversity.
Since qualifying as an Occupational Therapist in 2008, Alison has gained a range of clinical experience working with individuals with complex needs. She is passionate about using innovation, strengths-based approaches and creative involvement strategies to achieve positive outcomes for clients. Also, Alison has been trained in the use of therapeutic approaches such as DBT, CBT and Trauma Informed Practice and is confident in the application of these techniques.
