Julia specialises in housing and adaptations, specifically in housing reports that ensure those living with physical disabilities are empowered to live the fullest, most independent life possible. The services Julia offers in her current role as an Associate with The OT Practice include: Advice about access, bathroom &/or kitchen adaptations or equipment Home adaptations for independent living Falls prevention Assessments for Disabled Facilities Grants Specialist seating expertise Wheelchair assessments Electric mobility scooter assessment/advice Practical strategies/treatment to overcome daily challenges caused by illness, accident, recent diagnosis or ageing Julia has excellent skills in autonomy, time management and quality work and is passionate about helping wheelchair users, and those who might have conditions such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Huntington's disease and stroke. Julia has experience with housing adaptations for clients with physical disabilities such as trauma and orthopaedics, brain and spinal cord injuries and provides reports containing excellent advice and steps for clients.
