Sarah is an expert occupational therapist, having qualified in 2008. She specialises in neurological rehabilitation, delivering assessments to clients in their home environment. She will travel around East Anglia, visiting clients in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk. Sarah is qualified to complete the Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS).
Sarah has developed her clinical skill and understanding throughout her career, working in both hospital settings and acute rehabilitation units. She has worked with clients with complex acquired brain injuries, including stroke, traumatic injury, infections and hypoxia. She also has an interest in working with clients with cognitive impairments and challenging behaviour.
Working collaboratively with the client and their family, Sarah delivers assessments in the home environment, focusing on physical, cognitive, behavioural and social needs. Putting together a bespoke treatment plan, Sarah will work with her client to increase overall independence, working on domestic and leisure tasks, vocational opportunities and prescribing assistive technology where necessary.
