Based in London, Annmarie is an experienced OT and part of our specialist Paediatric team. She works with children of all ages with various clinical needs, including physical and neurological conditions. Annmarie visits children and their families in their home or school environment, working together to help them reach their maximum potential.
Since qualifying, Annmarie has worked in both the private and public sector, across inpatient and community services. In addition to working with children with learning and health needs, Annmarie has also worked with families and young people experiencing mental health challenges. She is skilled in using a number of therapeutic approaches, including mindfulness and sensory integration. Her comprehensive skill set facilitates her to provide a holistic approach to therapy to achieve change and improve their quality of life.
Annmarie has worked with children with neurological impairments, autism, and handwriting difficulties, as well as helping those with feeding, toileting and dressing needs. She offers therapy programmes to help the child increase their functional independence, as well as offering guidance and advice to parents and teachers on how to implement these strategies at home or in school. Annmarie ensures she uses enthusiasm and elements of fun in her therapy to motivate children to achieve their full potential.
