Working with children of all ages, Sam provides expert speech and language therapy to help them reach their maximum potential. She is based in London and travels around the city, visiting children and their families at home and in school. Sam specialises in working with children with dysphagia and complex needs, maintaining her membership of the London dysphagia Clinical Excellence Network (CEN)
Qualifying in 1992, Sam has spent her career working in various NHS Trusts, gaining experience with children with learning difficulties, autism, sensory needs and feeding difficulties. She has worked in various settings, such as special and mainstream nurseries and schools, clinics, units and within community roles. Sam often works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing joint assessments with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to ensure all of the child's needs are met.
Sam attends regular training, keeping her knowledge up to date and ensuring she is informed of current evidence based practice. She is also a member of Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
