Joanne is an Occupational Therapist with over 15 years of experience, visiting client across the West Midlands including Birmingham, Worcester, and Wolverhampton. She has worked in many different settings, acquiring a specialist knowledge in autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. Joanne delivers expert assessments and interventions, supporting children and young people to reach their maximum potential. She can help children, their families, and education staff to manage fatigue, behaviour, and anxiety.

Joanne is experienced working in schools helping education staff to support young people with managing learning and behaviours. Joanne has developed programmes for young people to gain confidence and self-esteem in social skills, fine motor skills, and gross motor skills. She has delivered psycho-educational training to young people, caregivers, school staff and health and social care professionals. Joanne is very interested in sensory processing difficulties and the impact this has on day to day functioning.

As a member of two Specialist Sections in Children, Young People and Families and Independent Practice at the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, Joanne is a committed and driven OT. She regularly undertakes training on a wide range of topics including Sensory Integration, Bobath, and Makaton.
