As an expert paediatric occupational therapist, Victoria works with children at home, in school or at nursery. Based in North West England, she travels to homes in Greater Manchester and Lancashire to assess and treat her clients. Within the field of paediatrics, Victoria specialises in housing & equipment and seating & postural management and is also a qualified moving and handling key trainer.

Since qualifying in 2002, Victoria has helped children with a variety of conditions including cerebral palsy, developmental delay, muscular dystrophy, developmental coordination disorder and learning disabilities. Working currently as Clinical Lead for Bolton NHS, Victoria provides specialist assessments to children, as well as training and advice to families, carers and teachers.

Working independently, Victoria is experienced in using standardised and non-standardised assessments to evaluate needs such as fine and gross motor, self care, equipment and adaptations in home and school environments. This includes training for children and their families on the safe use of specialist equipment and the importance of postural management. She works collaboratively with families to ensure their treatment goals are met and the child becomes as independent as possible.

Victoria is a member of the College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Sections for both Children, Young People and Families and Independent Practice.

Victoria is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
