Based in Colchester, Michaela is a specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist visiting children at home or school across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk. With over 10 years’ experience, she has developed expertise in the field of Sensory Integration through post graduate training and clinical experience. Michaela works with children with a range of conditions and disabilities including autism, ADHD, sensory difficulties, and developmental coordination disorder.

Working holistically Michaela helps children develop their skills and confidence to achieve their full potential and supports parents and carers in helping them gain knowledge and understanding of their child's difficulties through this process. She supports children and their families in various areas including gross and fine motor skills, hand writing, visual perception, balance and co-ordination, planning and execution of motor skills, organisation and sequencing, and self-care activities.

Michaela is a member of the Sensory Integration Network and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and continues to develop her skills and knowledge through academic study and peer learning.
