Based in Hertfordshire, Jacquie has over 25 years’ experience, working in a number of settings including acute hospital wards, inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services. Jacquie specialises in Neurological Rehabilitation, supporting with the rehabilitation of clients who have experienced traumatic brain injuries, stroke, and other neurological conditions. She particularly focuses on the management of cognitive and behavioural difficulties, fatigue management, and the use of technology to enable increased participation in valued activities, including vocational rehabilitation.
Jacquie has completed a post graduate certificate in postural management and has participated in neurological clinics within the wheelchair service. She has developed specialist skills in upper limb rehabilitation and is able to advise on the management of tonal issues. Jacquie can also provide support with hand splinting, including the assessment and fitting of the Saeboflex.
Committed to her ongoing professional development, Jacquie is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and their Specialist Section for Neurological Practice.
