Jo is a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in the field of neurology. Since qualifying from the University of East Anglia in 2000, she has worked in specialist neurology hospital departments, paediatrics, neuro-rehab centres, and community services. Jo specialises in both neurological and functional rehabilitation.
She has completed additional training in principles of normal movement (Bobath), splinting of the neurological hand (SOMEK), and has completed a certificate in leadership.
Jo provides specialist assessments in client's home to identify the barriers to a client completing their desired activities of daily living or vocation, and agrees a treatment plan to enable them to reach realistic and achievable goals.
