Based in Penarth, just south of Cardiff, Caroline is an Occupational Therapist covering South Wales and the West of England, including Swansea, Newport, and Bristol. Caroline will identify areas of functional difficulty within the home and provide advice on specialist equipment and adaptations for the home, in an aim to maintain her client’s independence. She can also make recommendations relating to Moving & Handling, ensuring that all of the client’s needs are addressed and any risks are managed.

Caroline has worked with clients with a broad range of conditions including, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and brain injury. She also has a specialist understanding of DFG Assessments and so can assist clients in the process.

Working for over 15 years in both the public and private sector, Caroline’s extensive experience saw her rise to the role of Senior OT and involved the training and supervising of other occupational therapists. Caroline has worked successfully in multi-disciplinary teams, closely collaborating with care agencies, grants officers, and charities.

Caroline attained her BSc in Occupational Therapy from The University of Wales, College of Medicine in 2002 and continues to undertake postgraduate training to ensure her professional development. This includes a Level 2 NVQ in Team Leading which Caroline achieved in 2008. Caroline also holds professional membership with the Independent Practice specialist section of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.
