Based just outside of Birmingham, Alison visits clients across the Midlands including Warwickshire, Worcestershire, and Gloucestershire. With over 10 years of experience in Occupational Therapy, Alison provides expert assessments and interventions. She specialises in progressive neurological conditions supporting with rehabilitation needs, housing adaptations and equipment, and where required, return to work planning. She is experienced helping clients with conditions such as motor neurone disease, cancer, Huntington’s disease, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy, and COPD and other respiratory conditions.

Alison is highly skilled in palliative care and is passionate about improving the quality of life for people with life-limiting conditions. She has experience working with clients of all ages including paediatrics, adults and the elderly and is committed to improving her client’s independence at home. She is skilled in identifying areas of functional difficulty within the home environment and can provide recommendations for supportive equipment and adaptations designed to maximise a client’s potential. Alison is also particularly knowledgeable in assistive technology and enabling her clients to use computers, mobile phones, tablets, and their television.

Alison in a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists as well as their Specialist Section for Independent Practice. She maintains her continual professional development through regular attendance at conferences and seminars designed to enhance her clinical practice.
