Otibho has also worked in Palliative Care and Hand Therapy, thus understanding conditions such as Arthritis.

Her end-of-life care experience led her to compassionately support ventilated patients in intensive care units. Likewise, she supported with those who had complex seating needs. Additionally, her experience in trauma led her to work in the Rehabilitation and Teaching team in UKEMT (United Kingdom’s Emergency Medical Team). This organisation aimed to deliver emergency medical care to people affected by epidemics, conflict and natural disasters across the world. In this role, Otibho delivered workshops to community-based rehabilitation staff regarding orthopaedics, wheelchairs, home adaptations and psychological first aid.

She continues her passion for teaching, being a guest occupational therapy lecturer at both Coventry and St Georges University. She enjoys also, personal research and attending training courses. Similarly, she completed a master’s degree at University College London in Global Health and Development.
