"Based in Guildford and close to London, Dani-Lee has over 10 years of paediatrics and sensory integration experience with 8 years in private practice. As a Senior Occupational Therapist and Clinical Lead, Dani-Lee conducts assessments for children with a variety of needs both in the home and in schools, including EHCPA school assessments and has worked with various paediatric occupational therapy areas of focus including children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder; Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity (ADHD); Sensory Processing Difficulties Learning Difficulties, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and various other developmental delays. She is trained in Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding therapy, DIR Floortime and Therapeutic listening. Dani-Lee also has a special interest in sensory processing, play and feeding strategies. Dani-Lee began her career in South Africa working in Mental Health Acute Settings, Paediatrics, and Adult Acute Neurological treatment settings. In paediatrics, Dani-Lee worked in neurology (CP, Hydrocephalus, HIE), Juvenile Arthritis clinic including splinting, hand function clinics, burns unit, neonatal follow-up clinics as well as paediatric wards with a range of diagnoses (including Trisomy 21, CP, Hydrocephalus, HIE ages preterm- 9 years. Continuing this path, Dani-Lee worked with multidisciplinary school teams delivering direct sensory integration and neurodevelopmental therapy as well as educating hospital staff and families to support the pre-term infants. She became certified for Infant Massage (IAIM) and ran local groups for parents and babies. "
