Private Occupational Therapy Housing assessment
This assessment is a thorough, holistic assessment of the client in their home environment. All areas of daily life are examined, from washing and dressing at the start of the day to getting in to bed at the end, including access into and out of the home and the use of stairs.
We regularly arrange the purchase and installation of daily living aids including grab-rails, ramps or chair-raisers, as well as major equipment and adaptations such as stair-lifts, bath-lifts and wet-floor shower areas. Working with architects and builders, we also can oversee large projects such as extensions and new builds.
Housing, equipment and adaptations are a core area of our practice, we are able to respond quickly but thoroughly to private individuals avoiding the waiting lists often encountered with local authority services or for those people who are not eligible for assessment from statutory services.
Platinum Package
Our platinum package is aimed at those private clients that wish for their projects to be managed by us. From the initial assessment through to the supply and fitting of equipment or the installation of a wet room, we can do this for you allowing you and your family to relax in the knowledge that you are in safe hands.
This package is ideal for those whose family members are concerned about a relative that is not geographically close to them or are too frail to organise the work themselves, or families that are in crisis so that their energies need to be directed at managing the family situation.
The OT Practice will provide a thorough initial assessment and we are then able to implement the recommendations of your choice in the style that suits you.
