Amanda

Amanda is an expert Paediatric Occupational Therapist located just outside of Basingstoke and covers a client base across Berkshire, Hampshire, and Surrey. She has always been passionate about working with children, young people, and their families and immediately specialised in the field of Paediatrics. Now with over 15 years of experience, Amanda has remained dedicated to this field and has developed an exceptional knowledge and skill set on a wide variety of conditions and needs.

Her areas of expertise draw on her experience supporting children with autistic spectrum disorder, sensory integration difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and Down's syndrome. Amanda has worked predominantly in the community, schools, nurseries, and homes, assessing and working with individuals aged 2-19 years with OT needs.

Amanda supports child and their families with a broad range of needs including behavioural difficulties, gross and fine motor skills, dexterity and hand writing difficulties, visual perception skills, balance and co-ordination, planning and execution of activities, and self-care tasks such as dressing and feeding.

Amanda enjoys learning and is currently working towards her post graduate Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner status.
