Claire

Claire is an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist specialising in Fine and Gross Motor Development, Sensory Processing, Functional Rehabilitation and Activities of Daily Living. Based in the West and South West of England, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Learning Disabilities and a range of physical and neurological conditions.

With clinical experience across healthcare and community settings, Claire works closely with children and their families to develop the skills needed for greater independence and participation in everyday activities. She supports children with self-care skills, including dressing, feeding and personal care, using individualised interventions tailored to their developmental needs and goals. She also has experience undertaking housing and functional assessments, identifying environmental barriers and recommending appropriate adaptations and specialist equipment to improve safety, accessibility and independence at home.

Claire takes a holistic, child-centred approach, considering each child's physical, emotional and environmental needs. She values working collaboratively with families to support positive outcomes and help children reach their potential. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT), maintaining her clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
