Experienced Occupational Therapist, Sarah specialises in Paediatric Occupational Therapy across West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. She supports children and young people with complex learning, sensory processing and social communication needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Developmental Coordination Disorder and co-occurring Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Her expertise includes adapting therapeutic approaches to support children's participation, independence and engagement in everyday activities and school environments.

Sarah qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Northampton in 2019 and has extensive clinical experience across acute hospital, community health and paediatric settings. Her broader clinical background includes stroke rehabilitation, neurological impairment, frailty, physical disabilities, complex long-term conditions, equipment prescription and housing adaptations.

Sarah has particular experience working in schools, collaborating with children, families, education staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate, person-centred interventions. She adapts her communication and therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs, helping children overcome barriers to participation and achieve meaningful outcomes. Her experience also includes managing complex community caseloads, facilitating therapeutic group programmes and supervising junior staff and students.

A committed and reflective practitioner, Sarah combines strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills with a person-centred approach, supporting children and young people to develop their skills, participate more fully in school and everyday life, and maximise their independence and wellbeing.

Sarah is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
