Sarah

Sarah is a highly skilled OT who has been delivering expert therapy for over 15 years. She specialises in Neurological Rehabilitation, providing assessments and treatment for adults who have progressive neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, motor neurone disease, stroke, acquired and traumatic brain injuries. Based in Nottingham, Sarah covers a client base across the East Midlands including Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

Over her extensive career, Sarah has worked with clients across a wide range of settings helping with fatigue management, balance and coordination, and fine and gross motor skills. Sarah works collaboratively with clients and often multi-disciplinary teams, to set individualised goals and rehabilitation plans. She endeavours to support a client regain their maximum level of independence from completing self-care tasks, such as washing and dressing, to returning to work.

Sarah can lead complex interventions involving more advanced skills such as splinting and upper limb rehabilitation. Utilising her BOBATH training, she can provide hands on treatment and support with moving and handling.

Sarah is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section in Neurological Practice.
