Dawn

Dawn is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist based in Truro, Cornwall. She supports both adult and paediatric clients, covering key areas such as Penzance, St Ives, Falmouth, and Newquay. Dawn provides Functional Rehabilitation for clients with a wide range of conditions and injuries, helping them with daily living skills to promote independence.

Dawn has previously worked in Adult Community Mental Health Team, Inpatient Acute Assessment and Discharge, and Inpatient Palliative Care. She draws on her extensive experience working with adults to support clients with self-care tasks, mental health challenges, and to provide suitable equipment to support safety and mobility in the home.

Working with children, Dawn provides expert assessments and interventions in schools, nurseries, and their home environment. She has experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Children's Community Therapy, special needs schools, mainstream schools and the community. Dawn utilises the skills she has acquired in her career so far to deliver specialist interventions and support children to reach their full potential.

Dawn also has a particular interest in sensory processing disorders and in March 2021 completed Module 1 of her Sensory Integration training.
