Based in Kirkcaldy in Fife, Lynn is an Occupational Therapist with over 15 years’ experience in the profession. She visits clients across Scotland, supporting and assessing those with physical and neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, orthopaedic trauma, and stroke. Lynn also has a particular interest in mental health, supporting clients with depression, anxiety, stress, bi-polar, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Working as an Occupational Therapist for many years, Lynn has used her skills in rehabilitation and reablement in a variety of statutory and third sector roles throughout her career, both in the UK and abroad. She believes in holistically assessing the individual in a person-centred manner in order to establish their rehabilitation potential. She believes that by undertaking cognitive assessments such as Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) and Allen Cognitive Level Screen (ACLS) to identify areas of rehab will benefit a person's physical wellbeing and emotional wellbeing.

Lynn also has a particular interest in the value of engaging people in Vocational Rehabilitation, particularly those with mental health challenges. She believes in adopting an asset-based approach where ever possible, in identifying and maximising the skills and motivation people have, regardless of their condition.

Lynn is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
