Amy is a highly skilled Occupational Therapist from Cardiff with over 10 years’ experience. She is passionate about working with adults with physical and cognitive disabilities including arthritis, amputations, Parkinson’s, dementia, stroke, and learning disabilities. Amy visits clients across Wales and the South West of England covering Swansea, Bristol, Gloucester, and Newport.

Amy has worked extensively in health, social services and housing teams throughout her career, completing minor and major housing adaptations, moving and handling assessments/interventions and specialist seating assessments to manage postural needs. Amy has developed an in-depth understanding of suitable housing adaptations and equipment aids, designed to maximise a client’s abilities and to ensure they are not limited by the environment around them. Amy can support clients with DFGs as well as Best Interest Assessments.

In order to provide the best possible treatment for the people she works with, Amy actively develops her clinical skills through regular post graduate training ensuring the work she completes reflects best practice and research. Following the completion of her BSc in Occupational Therapy at Cardiff University, Amy completed an MSc in Occupational Therapy in Advanced Practice in 2019 and attended a 4-day course focusing on housing adaptations for people with disabilities.
