Karen is an experienced HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist specialising in Paediatrics, Sensory Integration and Functional Rehabilitation. Based in the East of England, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire, supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, global developmental delay, learning difficulties, and neurological and genetic conditions. She also has extensive experience supporting individuals with anxiety, attachment difficulties, eating disorders and OCD.
Qualifying with a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Therapy from London South Bank University in 2006, Karen also holds an Advanced Practitioner qualification from the Sensory Integration Network. She is particularly passionate about supporting children, young people and adults with emotional regulation and has completed foundation training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Karen is committed to helping children engage more fully within educational settings and works collaboratively with children, families and schools to identify practical solutions that address individual needs.
Her approach focuses on understanding each child’s strengths and challenges and developing strategies that can be meaningfully incorporated into everyday routines and learning environments. She is also passionate about sharing her clinical knowledge and has delivered team-based training sessions and guest lectures at Anglia Ruskin University. Committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice, Karen takes a compassionate and collaborative approach to helping children, young people and adults achieve meaningful outcomes and greater independence in everyday life.
