Bethany

Bethany is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Sensory Integration, Neurodiversity and Paediatrics. Based in the North West, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Cheshire, Manchester, Liverpool, Salford, Merseyside and Lancashire, supporting children, young people and adults with complex mental health, developmental and neurodivergent needs. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with complex trauma, personality disorders, schizophrenia, learning disabilities, autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

With over a decade of clinical experience, Bethany has worked across education, forensic, rehabilitation and acute mental health settings. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Sensory Integration and has particular expertise in sensory assessments and interventions within education and hospital settings. She provides training and guidance to teachers and parents, helping them understand sensory needs and develop practical strategies to support children and young people at home and in school.

Currently working as Lead Occupational Therapist across six inpatient mental health wards, Bethany has extensive leadership experience in team development, service design and the implementation of Occupational Therapy models of practice. She has developed services from the ground up, embedding evidence-based approaches, policies and professional standards.
