Emma is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Hand Therapy and upper limb rehabilitation, supporting children and adults with fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, brachial plexus injuries, congenital hand conditions, carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's disease, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia and complex regional pain syndrome. Based in the North East, she provides specialist assessments across North East England, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear.

Qualifying from Northumbria University in 2004, and with over two decades of experience, Emma has particular expertise in paediatric Hand Therapy, including congenital hand conditions and birth-related injuries. As lead therapist for an Obstetric Brachial Plexus clinic, she assessed children before and after surgery, providing tailored treatment and recommendations. She also spent time at the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, Canada, bringing specialist assessment approaches back to the UK. Emma has also been a member of the UK Hand Transplant Team, providing specialist pre- and post-transplant assessment and rehabilitation.

Emma combines extensive clinical experience with a compassionate, person-centred approach, working closely with clients and families to support recovery, restore function and achieve meaningful goals. She is committed to ongoing professional development and delivering high-quality, evidence-based Hand Therapy.
