Bsc (Hons) Occupational Therapy
DFG Assessments, Blue Badges / Mobility Assessments, Postural management
Since completing her degree at St Loye’s School of Occupational Therapy in Exeter in 1996, Louise has worked in a variety of clinical settings in both public and private sectors. After qualifying, she spent two years in an NHS rotational post gaining a wider knowledge of disabilities and dysfunctions that impact on an individual’s life.
For the past twenty years her experience has been community based focusing on adult physical disability and the way in which Occupational Therapy can help individuals achieve and regain independence. This has included assessment as well as sourcing and provision of standard and bespoke equipment, including that necessary for safe moving and handling, specialist seating, postural management and tissue viability. It has also included assessment for major and minor adaptations to clients homes working extensively with architects, builders and housing teams.
Louise is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
