Louise

Louise is an experienced OT with expertise in Housing and Equipment. She works with clients to help them achieve and regain independence, delivering holistic assessments and recommending standard and bespoke equipment. Louise is located in Wiltshire and visits clients across the South East of England, including Bristol and Swindon.

Louise works with adult clients with a wide range of conditions and disabilities including Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain syndrome, cancer, dementia, and stroke. She helps clients to enhance their independence at home by enabling them to complete self-care tasks. Her product knowledge includes those necessary for safe moving and handling, specialist seating, postural management, and tissue viability. Louise can also conduct assessments for major and minor adaptations to client’s homes working extensively with architects, builders, and housing teams.

Committed to her ongoing professional development, Louise regularly undertakes training courses, conferences, seminars, and onsite training with providers of specialist equipment. Louise is also a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists, including two of their Specialist Sections in Housing and Independent Practice.
