Jennie

Based in Doncaster, Jennie is an experienced OT working in a variety of settings for over 10 years. She covers a client base across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, providing Functional and Neuro Rehabilitation for clients with a wide range of conditions and injuries. Jennie has expertise in complex neurological cases, supporting clients with brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, and Parkinson’s.

Jennie supports clients through tailored treatment plans designed to improve functional mobility and limb sensation, and regain coordination. She also provides recommendations on equipment and home adaptations that can support everyday life, from grab rails in the bathroom to pressure cushions and specialist postural support. Jennie will evaluate a client’s needs and provide recommendations that are tailored to their current and likely future needs. She also considers a client’s mental health needs surrounding confidence and anxiety.

Jennie is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapist’s Specialist Section in Neurology. She has undertaken various training courses in specialist areas to enhance her clinical expertise, including Sensory Integration for dementia care and Train the Trainer in Moving and Handling.
