Sam is an experienced OT who has worked with clients with many different conditions and complex needs, including multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, osteoporosis, orthopaedic trauma, and Parkinson’s disease. She specialises in Housing & Equipment, Seating & Postural Management, and Functional Rehabilitation. Sam is based near Kettering in Northamptonshire, visiting clients across Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, and Warwickshire.

Sam holistically assesses a client’s personal and domestic activities of daily living to understand how able and confident a client is moving around the house and conducting routine tasks. Based on this assessment, Sam’s aim is to recommend programmes of rehabilitation and equipment provisions to support a client’s everyday life. This includes both small and major home adaptations as well as equipment to safely leave the home and access the community.

Sam has particular expertise in falls prevention, assessing the risks a client might face at home and in the community. She aims to reduce the frequency of falls through exercise programmes to develop strength and balance, mobility aids, and home adaptations.

Sam is a member of The Royal College of Occupational Therapist Independent Practice section.

Sam is just one of our nationwide network of therapists.
