Liz is an Occupational Therapist based in Glasgow, visiting clients across all of Scotland including Edinburgh, Stirling, Dundee, and the Borders. Specialising in Neurological Rehabilitation, she works with both adults and children to support them with injuries and long-term conditions to achieve optimum recovery and maximise independence. Liz has developed specialist skills in neurological practice, working with a wide range of clients with acquired brain injury, stroke, and advanced neurological conditions.
Liz is a specialist in rehabilitation, helping clients with both functional and cognitive needs. Liz delivers expert functional skills assessments, having completed post graduate AMPS (Assessment of Motor and Process Skills) training in 2011. She supports clients with self-care tasks, enabling them to maximise independence at home by completing everyday tasks such as washing, dressing, and eating. Liz also offers school based therapy for children, offering support with behavioural and sensory integration difficulties, handwriting, and routine planning.
Liz is a highly committed OT always looking to further her clinical knowledge and skill-set. She is a professional member of several Specialist Sections at the Royal College of Occupational Therapy including Independent Practice, Mental Health, Neurological Practice, and Children, Young People & Families.
