Rachael is an Occupational Therapist with over 18 years’ experience in both the NHS (acute and community) and private sector. She has a specialist interest in Neurological Rehabilitation, building on a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of physical and cognitive conditions. Rachael has worked extensively with elderly and frail clients, developing expertise on stroke, Parkinson's Disease, falls, dementia as well as palliative care. Rachael is located in Banbury and covers a client base across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, and Warwickshire.
Rachael strives to attain a deep understanding of a client’s needs and provide a goal-oriented rehabilitation plan. She is a positive and enthusiastic person, committed to providing evidence-based intervention with compassion and care. She can support clients with activities of daily living including routine planning, self-care, balance and coordination, and gross motor skills.
The breadth of Rachael’s experience enables her to proficiently assess clients with a range of medical diagnosis and conditions and effectively devise a treatment plan to optimise safety and independence. She continually develops a high level of clinical reasoning skills that enable her to provide an expert opinion to support patients, families and other professionals.
