Fran

Working in North West England (Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside) OT Fran specialises in Complex Paediatrics, Seating, Postural Management, Moving & Handling, Equipment and Risk Assessments. Fran works with children (aged 3-19) who have Neurological conditions like: Cerebral Palsy, Brain Injury, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, Schizencephaly, Rett syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Down’s syndrome, West syndrome, Cri-Du-Chat syndrome, Batten disease, Achondroplasia, Mitochondrial disorders and Global Developmental Delay.

In 2003, Fran attended the University of Liverpool gaining a degree in Occupational Therapy. Since then, Fran has become a Manual Handling trainer, completed qualifications in Single Handed Care and Paediatric specific Train the Trainer courses. Also, Fran is chair of the Children's Procurement Panel for her local integrated community Equipment stores (ICES). Furthermore, she is a Clinical Lead for Transition to Adult Services.
