Gwendoline is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of combined health and social care experience across France and the UK. Based in Cornwall, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across the county, supporting adults and older people with complex physical, neurological and long-term conditions. Gwendoline specialises in housing and equipment, major and minor adaptations, functional rehabilitation and palliative care. She has extensive experience supporting people with cancer, terminal illness, neurological conditions including Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease, dementia, arthritis, spinal injury, fatigue, anxiety and depression.
With a compassionate, person-centred and holistic approach, Gwendoline works closely with individuals and their families to identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that promote independence, comfort and quality of life. She has particular expertise in palliative and end-of-life care, supporting individuals and families with complex decisions and planning during life-limiting illness.
Gwendoline also has extensive experience in education and professional development, having lectured and supervised Occupational Therapy students and provided training and clinical supervision to health and social care professionals. She holds a first-class Bachelor’s degree from the University of the West of England and is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
