Elena

Elena is an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist providing specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. She has specialist expertise in autism, ADHD, developmental coordination disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury, developmental delay, rare genetic conditions and complex physical and intellectual disabilities. Elena is experienced in specialist equipment assessments, upper limb therapy, functional rehabilitation, seating and postural management, school-based Occupational Therapy and parent coaching.

Passionate about child-centred practice, Elena works collaboratively with children, families, schools and multidisciplinary teams to develop meaningful goals and embed practical strategies into everyday life. Alongside her clinical work, she supervises Occupational Therapists and students, lectures in paediatric Occupational Therapy at university level, and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Elena is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
