Helen

Helen is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in housing and equipment, functional rehabilitation, and moving and handling. Based in the West Midlands, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, helping adults and older people maintain independence, safety and quality of life. Helen has experience working with individuals living with dementia, stroke, arthritis, anxiety and depression, as well as those experiencing difficulties with balance, coordination, dexterity, visual perception, motivation and the planning and execution of everyday activities. She provides practical advice on equipment, moving and handling, home adaptations and targeted interventions to promote independence and reduce risk.

Committed to delivering holistic, person-centred Occupational Therapy, Helen works closely with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored solutions that support meaningful participation in everyday life. She continually develops her clinical expertise through ongoing professional development, ensuring her practice remains evidence-based and up to date. Helen is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
