Mary Kate is a highly skilled OT based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, specialising in Housing & Equipment, Functional Rehab, and Seating & Postural Management. Mary Kate is particularly interested in specialist seating and wheelchairs, offering expert consultations and recommendations. Mary Kate visits clients across all of Northern Ireland including Belfast, Londonderry, Tyrone, and Antrim.
Mary Kate has over 10 years’ experience helping adults with a wide range of injuries and conditions including fractures, knee and hip replacements, cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease, and Parkinson’s. She offers holistic assessments, considering a client’s needs at home and can advise on supportive equipment as well as complex housing adaptations. Mary Kate also works with clients experiencing pain or fatigue, enabling them to manage their condition and facilitating them to safely and effectively carry out activities of daily living such as cooking and cleaning. She also offers DFG and Blue Badge advice.
Always striving to improve her clinical knowledge, Mary Kate recently competed a master’s module in Environmental Design at Ulster University.
