Occupational Therapist Barbara is a dedicated professional specializing in functional rehabilitation, moving and handling, and neurological rehabilitation. Based in Hull, she extends her services to Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Durham, Humberside, Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Leeds, and Sheffield. With a qualification dating back to 1998, Barbara has a rich background, having worked in diverse settings, including acute hospitals, rehabilitation units, and community rehabilitation, both with statutory services and within the NHS.
Her extensive expertise covers traumatic brain injuries, neurological conditions, spinal injuries, and polytrauma. Over the years, Barbara's role has evolved, and she considers rehabilitation, re-enablement, and adapting to disability as areas of special interest. Beyond her clinical practice, she also serves as an associate expert witness.
