Deborah is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in neurological rehabilitation, functional rehabilitation and moving and handling. Based in London, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across London, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, supporting adults and adolescents with neurological and complex needs. She has particular expertise in supporting people with spinal injuries, acquired and traumatic brain injuries, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Motor Neurone Disease. Deborah also has experience working with adults with mental health and learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, eating disorders and complex behavioural needs.
Qualifying from Brunel University in 2007, Deborah has extensive clinical experience across public and private healthcare settings. Alongside her clinical practice, Deborah has extensive experience writing complex reports and communicating with social care teams, case managers and solicitors. Her postgraduate qualifications include CBT Techniques, Psychodynamic Thinking, Group Dynamics and Systemic Practice.
