Amardeep

Amar is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Housing and Equipment, Functional Rehabilitation, Moving and Handling and Neurological Rehabilitation. Based in West London, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for adults with complex physical, neurological, cognitive, mental health and learning needs. She has supported individuals with a wide range of physical and neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, encephalitis and Functional Neurological Disorder.

Qualifying from Brunel University in 2017, Amar is skilled in functional assessment, rehabilitation, reablement, equipment provision, housing adaptations and moving and handling. She develops tailored interventions that promote independence, safety and participation in everyday activities, working collaboratively with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams.

She also has experience supporting adults with complex mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, emotionally unstable personality disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and eating disorders. Her broad clinical experience enables her to take a holistic approach, considering the physical, cognitive, psychological and environmental factors affecting an individual’s function and quality of life.
