Holly has extensive clinical expertise in stroke and neurosciences, including the management of prolonged disorders of consciousness, neuro-oncology, neurodegenerative, neurosurgical, and neuromuscular conditions. Her skills include thermoplastic splinting for the upper limb, NMES for the hemiplegic upper limb, and neurorehabilitation approaches such as cognitive, upper limb, and vocational rehabilitation. She is experienced in complex postural management, specialist seating, and the assessment and prescription of ADL equipment.
Alongside her role as a private practitioner, Holly currently works as an Advanced Occupational Therapist in Burns and Complex Trauma. Her role involves conducting advanced therapeutic assessments and formulating diagnoses for patients with a wide range of complex physical and psychological conditions, enabling her to develop and implement highly individualised treatment plans. Holly has also guest lectured at the University of Brighton on the role of Occupational Therapy in neuro and the acute stroke pathway.
