Lucie

Lucie is an experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Functional Rehabilitation, Housing and Equipment, DFG Assessments, Moving and Handling, and Seating and Postural Management. Based in Bristol, she works across South West England, providing specialist Occupational Therapy assessments for adults with physical, neurological and long-term conditions.

Qualifying from Cardiff University in 2012, Lucie has over a decade of experience working within adult care services, including extensive experience in Reablement. Her clinical experience includes supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington’s disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, traumatic brain injury, stroke, chronic fatigue, orthopaedic and rheumatological conditions, COPD and falls.

Lucie takes a holistic, person-centred approach, placing each individual’s needs, wishes and goals at the centre of her assessments and interventions. She has a particular interest in supporting people through significant life changes and works closely with families and carers to develop practical solutions that promote independence and quality of life.
