Sharon

Sharon is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist specialising in Functional Rehabilitation, Moving and Handling, Paediatrics, Hand Therapy and Equipment Provision. Based in Southampton, she provides specialist Occupational Therapy assessments across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, supporting adults and children with a wide range of physical and functional needs.

Qualifying from Southampton University School of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy in 1997, Sharon has almost three decades of clinical experience across acute, community and paediatric settings. She has particular expertise in functional rehabilitation, elderly care, trauma and orthopaedics, complex physical health conditions, equipment provision and discharge planning. She is also experienced in managing complex cases and holds Train-the-Trainer qualifications in moving and handling and proportionate single-handed care.

Sharon is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly undertaking advanced training and clinical supervision to maintain evidence-based practice and deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy.
